Somewhere on the laundry list of the things Arnold Palmer is famous for is his active letter writing.
In recent years, and particularly in the months since The King’s passing, tour pros have shared letters they received from Palmer, sending along his congratulations and encouragement.
With the Arnold Palmer Invitational on deck this week at Bay Hill, world. No. 3 Rory McIlroy tweeted on Tuesday this letter he received from Palmer following his first major championship win at the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional.
